Conversations: Lori Cohen on Mindfulness

Lori Cohen, a humanities teacher, spoke at Morning Meeting about her experience with mindfulness – from her initial skepticism to her current experience, which falls in line with recent scientific findings about the emotional benefits of being present. She delved into three personal experiences with different types of meditation aimed at achieving different results, before describing how she came to mindfulness meditation largely by accident, as she watched her feet on a calming walk one day.
