The Bay School cross country team headed back to Golden Gate Park for an early-season meet against most of the Bay Area Conference schools. Cool and overcast weather provided ideal conditions for the team to run fast. The boys team placed third in a surprise finish. Emmet placed fourth overall with a time of 18:07 in the 5K and Ben and Kevin both improved their best times. The girls team finished fourth with help from Anna, who placed fourth overall, and Julia, who knocked one minute off her overall time. Bay cross country is gaining recognition as an up-and-coming team.
